Occupancy

Every guest at the time of arrival is required to sign all documents, forms & register which is available with the supervisor of Guest House. similarly while vacating the Guest House they should sign in the Guest House register
A bed facility is considered to be occupied by the person if it is allotted to him and he has taken possession of it. Appropriate rent needs to be paid for the duration of occupancy. 1-15 days occupancy is counted as half month occupancy. 16-30 days occupancy is counted as full month occupancy.
Change of resident bed is permitted once in a year, typically during summer. Once a bed facility with bed number is allotted to the resident it cannot be exchange with another resident without permission of administrator.
The administrator reserves the right to lock or open the lock of any room, whenever needed. In such cases, in the absence of the guest, the personal belongings of the resident will be kept under the custody of the hostel administrator.

Protection of Property

Residents should protect their personal property. The Guest House is not responsible for any loss of property of the residents. Residents should lock their cupboards while they are outside the room. residents are advised to close the door of room while sleeping.
Residents are advised not to keep valuable articles and large amount of cash in the room or cupboard.
Residents are personally responsible for furniture and other fittings of the room or bed and cupboard allotted to them. In case of any loss or damage to the furniture, either by negligence or otherwise, the resident shall be liable to pay for repair/the cost of the items as may be decided by the Guest House administrator.The cost will be recovered from the Security Deposit.
Residents are not allowed to shift any property (electric bulb, news papers) from the common area of Guest House.

If bed facilities are available it can be allotted to them on chargeable basis. residents has to inform the supervisor in future. no female visitor shall be allowed in the Guest House premises.
The Guest House is not responsible for providing boarding facilities to parents or relatives or friend. They are advised to find boarding outside the campus and visit the residents during the day time. However, a few guest bed facility are available on chargeable basis. A guest bed should be booked at least one day in advance. Guest Bed is subject to availability.
Visitors (including parents & relatives or friends) must approach Guest House security guard and write in the visitors register.

It is expected that residents will take all their breakfast & dinner in the mess at time. Resident has to intimate the supervisor if he is coming late. If any resident is late the food will be kept in a hot case which he can be consumed in the mess.
Taking food/utensils/crockery items etc. outside the dining hall is not permitted.
In special circumstances like sickness/physical disability, food may be served in the rooms on prior intimation.
Residents are advised to be courteous with the mess staff. In case of any disagreement complaint in the witting form to the administrator.
Guest House mess will serve only vegetarian food . The food is served only in the canteen and not in the room
